The last time I was at the Scottish Crannog Centre I told this story while, the amazing dry stone dyker, Jim built a firepit.
It was a pleasure to watch him work and see scattered stones from the beach slowly take shape into something new and beautiful. I was so glad to sit next to that fire and craft stories as he worked.
This story takes some of its inspiration from an old Rumi tale. I hope you enjoy.
