A short tale from Slovakia.
Hedgehogs have a special place in my heart. Several visited my garden when I was a child. I now watch out at the end of the year for those youngsters who have not put on enough weight to make it through the winter. Toward the end of the summer feeding them cat food can help (never bread or milk!).
